Last updated November 2, 2026
We collect only what we need to answer you, consider your application, or keep you up to date, and we don’t sell it.
01Who we are and what this covers
Cerebel Robotics, Inc. (“Cerebel”, “we”, “us”) builds tactile intelligence for robot hands. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through cerebel.co and related pages (the “Site”), our forms, and our email communications.
It does not cover data collected under a separate agreement, such as a pilot or research collaboration. Those agreements set their own terms.
02Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Contact and pilot requests: name, work email, company, role and the details of your request.
- Job applications: name, contact details, résumé or CV, links you share (for example LinkedIn or GitHub) and your answers to application questions.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
- Meeting bookings: when you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email and the time you choose.
Information collected automatically. On selected pages we record the page visited, time and time spent, referring page, browser type and an approximate location (city and country) derived by our hosting provider. We do not store IP addresses for this purpose and do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Browser storage. The Site stores a small preference in your browser, for example whether you dismissed a news banner. It never leaves your device.
03How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry, schedule calls and run pilots or collaborations you ask about.
- To review job applications and contact candidates.
- To send the newsletter or updates you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the Site.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent abuse of our forms.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
05How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and job applications for up to two years so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate.
06Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on stored submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you email. Depending on where you live (for example California, Texas, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights, such as the right to data portability or to object to certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
To make a request, email info@cerebel.co. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
08International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
09Children
The Site is meant for businesses, researchers and job seekers. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10Other websites
The Site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, X, Cal.com and published research. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site and our business change. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
